What is a Covid-19 PCR test?

A Covid-19 PCR test looks for the Covid-19 virus on a swab sample collected from the back of the throat and nose. Our private Covid-19 testing is provided by world-class UKAS accredited laboratories on CE marked PCR assay machines to provide fast and reliable results.

What are the requirements for a Fit to Fly certificate?

A negative COVID-19 test is required prior to travelling. Please check with the airline you are travelling with and the country you are travelling to regarding which test they accept. Some accept antigen tests whilst some will accept PCR test. Most of them accept results valid between 48-72 hours prior to travel. Therefore, it is important to check with your airline and country you are travelling to.

Will the airlines accept my certificate?

Yes, your Fit To Fly certificate is based on results from a UKCAS approved laboratory and it is  globally-recognised.

Which countries require Fit to Fly certificates?

Countries that need a Fit to Fly certificate change frequently. Please check and follow government guidelines relevant to the  country you are flying to.

When will I get my coronavirus test result?

After the lab receives your sample, you will get your Covid-19 test results in 2 days by 11pm.

What are the requirement for Test to Release?

Upon arrival in England please quarantine. You can take a test no earlier than the 5th day after arrival in England.

This is in addition to the tests that everyone must take on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 of their quarantine period.

This will enable you to  order your test  with us on your first day of quarantine and receive it in time to take your test on day 5 of your quarantine.

What should I do if I test positive?

 If your PCR test comes back positive, you should follow the Government/NHS guidelines and you must self-isolate immediately to prevent spreading the virus to others. If you have underlying health conditions, please contact the NHS on 111, they will advise you on the next steps
